NaKniSweMo 2012 – my plans

And so, November has rolled around again (extremely quickly, haha) and it’s not only NaKniMo, it’s NaKniSweMo! Woot woot!

Last year, I did (and successfully accomplished, I might add) the Acer Cardigan by Amy Christoffers (which is actually the sweater I’m wearing in my banner :-P)

I had big plans for this year’s sweater, but when November 1st rolled around, I was really busy and didn’t have time to start something that was going to be *that* big.. (it was going to be pretty big, haha. Fair isle, putting a different chart into a different sweater, different weight yarn, it would be pretty crazy)

That sweater *is* going to happen, I’m going to make it happen! Now just isn’t the best, haha. Maybe over Christmas break or something, that’d be a great time.

Anyways! So I went stash diving (which is cool, cause that’s what I did last year as well. Yay for using stash!) and found my Patricia Roberts that I got when we were visiting London!

And I have decided to make… An Audrey in Unst cardigan by Gudrun Johnston

My mom got the same yarn, just in a brown, and made an Audrey in Unst last year sometime. It turned out great, it’s really lightweight and great stitch definition.

One thing I did realize, when I was taking pictures. Is that it’s almost (or it is, really) the exact same color as my Acer, haha. It must be something about it being fall, and almost Thanksgiving that causes me to be attracted to those greens. Because normally that’s not usually the first color I’m drawn to.

I cast on on Wednesday evening and have been working on those 36 rows of the twisted rib ever since :-P I have like 7 rows left, so I am determined to reach the body this evening, haha. I can do it!

And so, that’s my NaKniSweMo plan ^_^
