Aaaah, Color Affection
I’m almost done with the last striped section, I have about 2 more repeats of the short rows.
It’s hanging out in our family room, since it’s got all three balls of yarn attached, it’s a tad cumbersome to carry around. But it’s really nice to have sitting there, since it’s all auto-pilot knitting… When I need a break from homework, I can knit upon that while watching a Doctor Who something, to sooth my school-crazed mind, haha.
A lot of folks have complained about the dull ploddingness of the garter stitch in this pattern, but I agree with you that I kind of liked it. I could knit away while watching tv or even reading a book and not even have to look at it.
Take no offence, but, it looks like a bumble bee! Anyway, I love it!
I’m knitting a color affection right now and I’m quite enjoying it. The garter stitch is really good for me, actually, as it doesn’t aggravate the ridiculously horrible tendonitis I have in my right hand/wrist/arm as much as purl stitches do. The colors you’re knitting are great fun!
